Navajeevan Bala Bhavan Society works with street children/youth, child workers, children in conflict with law, child victims of sexual and other forms of violence – especially girl children and children infected/affected with HIV/AIDS. Recently, started working with children suffering from the substance/social media abuse/use disorders & children of the most marginalized migrants and the internally displaced/socially excluded communities especially the Yanadi Tribes.
At a time, Navajeevan could provide full support for over 350 most deprived children/youth, boys and girls, between 6 and 23 years, accommodated in its Child Care Institutions (Chiguru – Children’s Village bridge school, other Group Care Homes for school children, Peer Home for college boys (Yuva Bhavan); also, the girls children partially or fully supported by Navajeevan, in outside Govt social welfare hostels and in some private educational institutions. through outreach program we too animating most marginalized communities to make aware about health care and social development schemes etc. We also conducting 150 Evening Tuition Centers to help children to study better and teach about health care, hygiene, personal development skills.
