This is the reality for 35 children and young adults in Bengaluru, from areas like Doddabidarakallu, Hegganahalli, Yeshwanthpur, Yelahanka, and Srirampuram. They are living with disabilities like Cerebral Palsy, Locomotor Disabilities, Muscular Dystrophy, and multiple Intellectual Disabilities. A functional modified wheelchair, that costs around 20,000 rupees is a distant dream for their families who are working as daily wage labourers, factory workers, and petty vendors, leaving their children dependent, isolated, and unable to chase their dreams.

A wheelchair is not just a piece of equipment. It is freedom, dignity, and opportunity. INDIAdonates, along with its on-ground partner Sama Foundation, is working to change this by providing 35 wheelchairs to those who need them the most. • Suresh (name changed), 18 years old, from Yeshwanthpur, lost mobility due to Muscular Dystrophy. Without a wheelchair, he is unable to step out of his home and be a part of his community and look for opportunities. With your support, he can regain his independence and live with dignity.
